Energy drink Red Bull celebrates the Bay Area’s innovative contemporary artists with a local edition of Canvas Cooler, transforming canvas-wrapped Red Bull coolers with eye-catching designs. The works were showcased at Public Works in San Francisco on Thursday, January 31. A panel of judges, including Elisa Stephens, the President, Academy of Art University; Dorka Keehn, the Commissioner of the City of San Francisco Arts Commission; and Maria Jenson, Director of ArtPadSF voted 2 artists through to participate in a Red Bull Curates Canvas Cooler group exhibition this coming December in Miami during the 2013 Art Basel Season.
