14370390_10154577317073383_6492430837349704425_nCCA’s Exhibitions program presents Alma Mater, an exhibition that showcases work by recent alumni from across the college’s four divisions: Fine Arts, Design, Architecture, and Humanities & Sciences, presented in its new Hubbell Street Galleries.

Attendees of CCA’s Alumni & Family Weekend are invited to attend the opening reception as part of the Alumni Association-sponsored program on Saturday, November 12 at 3:30 pm.

Alma Mater specifically focuses on a small selection of alumni who graduated within the last 10 years and who have been proactive in shaping the growing presence of a robust and revitalized art scene in the Bay Area.

The exhibition highlights a diverse array of practices developed by these former students and layers the influence that CCA alumni are having on the Bay Area community into a collection of discrete but unified voices

CCA’s new Hubbell Street Galleries are located one block from the San Francisco campus on the lower level of the new 1010 Potrero development. The galleries will increase the public visibility of works CCA students, alumni, staff, and faculty produce.

The new galleries will also serve as a community-building catalyst as CCA continues to expand its presence in and around the neighborhood.

Exhibition open November 8-19, hours: Tues-Sat noon-5p.m. and Thurs. 12-7:30pm
